Dan Coughlan, Curator of Textiles, has kindly offered to host DATS members at Paisley Museum on Thursday 25th May from 14:00 – 16:00.

Members will have the opportunity to learn about the history of weaving in Paisley and view the Museum’s textile collections, including design and sample books and shawls. In the loom gallery members will be able to view various items of hand weaving technology, including warping equipment, a jacquard card cutting machine and witness one of Dan’s legendary weaving demonstrations.
Paisley Museum is located on Paisley High Street, which is a short walk from Paisley Gilmour Street Station, which is 10 minutes by train from Glasgow Central Station. For more information about how to get to Paisley Museum please see link:
