The 2026 DATS subject specialist network annual conference will be held The Harris, Preston, on Thursday 8 & Friday 9 October.

The conference will include a tour of the exhibition Horrockses Fashions and visit to collections stories with Scott Schiavone, Decorative Art Curator.

We are privileged to welcome a keynote presentation by Rose Sinclair MBE and invited presentations by Dr Kerri Akiwowo, considering amplification of diverse voices in textiles practice and by artist Sabapathy, featuring her site-specific works at The Harris.
